What should I do, then? Send her a gift? Sacrifice? … Unholy fruit basket?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I bought some Cherry Cider at TJ's today for the express purpose of using them in fizzy water. Of the NUM. But I have to confess that the seltzer flavors I tried from SodaStream (not the faux cola, etc. type but the berry water type) were not tasty to me. Calorie free is good, but I'd rather use a little bit of juice.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, man. I am exhausted, hardly got anything done today, and Frankie is under the weather. I don't think we need to go to the emergency vet tonight, but I don't expect to sllep very soundly either.

I am so not ready for this interview! Thank god I'm okay wih extemporaneous, though as any of y'all who've met me in person can vouch, I have a hard time telling a short story.

Yeah, I currently drink a whole lot of the Trader Joe's fizzy lime water. So I'm hoping to like the no-cal lime flavor that was included with the sodastream? But I figure if I don't, I can MAKE MORE! Yay.

I went to Bed Bath and Beyond because I finally got one of those 20% off coupons in the mail.

bonny, would scrambled eggs (cooked in a teensy bit of oil) be okay for a first meal back?

Egg is good, but I'd avoid oil of any kind. It aggravates the stomach lining and pancreas. You could poach the egg and mash it up.

Or try super lean boiled hamburger, maybe some boiled sweet potato.

In any case, resist the urge to feed him too soon or too much in the first meal. Give him quarter cup, see what happens, then a quarter cup more in a couple of hours.

He may give you big, hungry eyes, but know that what is best for his belly is to resist until it can right itself.

Skip dairy and poultry for a bit as well.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Paul McCartney and Jimmy Fallon singing "Scrambled Eggs", the "original lyrics" of "Yesterday."

I took F-bomb for a short walk and he seems to have perked up a bit. Silly boy, scaring his mommy and auntie and grandparents like that.

I know this one all too well.

The first couple of bouts of bad belly are super scary, but over time you'll get to know the symptoms, treatments and coping mechanisms.

There is far less to worry about, most of the time, than you might think. Get comfortable with taking his vitals and it will go a long way to making it easier to cope.
