Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I took F-bomb for a short walk and he seems to have perked up a bit. Silly boy, scaring his mommy and auntie and grandparents like that.

I know this one all too well.

The first couple of bouts of bad belly are super scary, but over time you'll get to know the symptoms, treatments and coping mechanisms.

There is far less to worry about, most of the time, than you might think. Get comfortable with taking his vitals and it will go a long way to making it easier to cope.

Always Anti-fascist!

Death, taxes, and my love for the Simonverse. And I'm gross, because I'm wondering how "Happy endings are for massage parlors," translate.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I want to believe I kicked off the SodaStream trend, 3+ years ago (best. purchase. EVER.), but I think I heard about it from someone else here who had one. Maybe Jessica? I can't remember. But I loves mine passionately. I pretty much just make my tap water fizzy and drink it that way. I don't actually care so much about flavor; I just love carbonation. That sounds a little crazycakes now that I've stated it outright. Oh, well.

Right? Andrew Jackson = BAMF.

My dad's birthday present last year was a biography of Andrew Jackson, with a printout of that article inside the front cover.

I need to find a good biography of Andrew Jackson -- would you recommend the one you gave your dad? And if so, what was the title? (PLEASE tell me it's Andrew Jackson: Badass Motherfucker. PLEASE.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

He was a champ while we took his temp. It was a bit low (99.1), but like I said he's definitely perking up so I'm not as concerned. Had no success trying to get his pulse. Felt everywhere I could, tried to listen, had my mom try, no luck. Thanks again for your help and reassurance, bonny.

If that's crazycakes, I don't wanna be rightpie.

Of course, hon. I love me some pooches and their Buffistas.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, please, someone tell me tomorrow isn't really Monday. Why are weekends so short? It takes me two days to recover from the work week, never mind getting anything done.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I need to find a good biography of Andrew Jackson -- would you recommend the one you gave your dad? And if so, what was the title? (PLEASE tell me it's Andrew Jackson: Badass Motherfucker. PLEASE.)

I like to think it was implied. The title was, IIRC, "American Lion". I think it looked pretty good, though I have to mark it down for apparently not containing the quote, "I have only two regrets: I didn't shoot Henry Clay and I didn't hang John C. Calhoun." John C. Calhoun being his Vice President.

Wow. That's dangerously close to "I have tiger blood!" That is AWESOME.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I want to believe I kicked off the SodaStream trend, 3+ years ago (best. purchase. EVER.), but I think I heard about it from someone else here who had one. Maybe Jessica?

I think I first knew about home fizzy water from Jessica and then the SodaStream from you, Steph?

Man, I love mine. I can't believe I've had it less than a year. I can fizz water! And, sure, I'll put things in it but mostly I just drink plain (heh) fizzed water. Bubbles!
