Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Pics are on FB. I will link tomorrow for people not on fb. She has spent all evening in my lap. She loves people and other dogs. We are going to wait a week in case she's claimed and then we will chip her.

The Misadventures of Meara:

OMG, so my friend who was with me on Saturday night filled me in on what exactly happened (I swear, I got TWO drinks, and I was completely drunkass!)So, we'd been looking around the bar (she's got a gf, but wanted vicarious fun) and dancing and so on...and I was having much fun. And at some point, while exuberantly enjoying a painting on the wall, made friends with this other group. Mostly was chatting up the one of them, and enjoying saying the word "excavator" (the cute one is an excavator! Say it a few times. Excavate! It's fun!).

...and sure, I was being completely drunkass, but that was not the awkward part. So, apparently I invited her to come home with me. I don't remember this. Friend didn't actually hear that, but girl apparently then was asking follow up questions like was my friend coming too, etc, trying to determine what sort of invite this was. ...I don't remember that. So then her friends leave...and they were her ride. So I'm all "I think it's time to go!" and then get confused when she was going to come with us (my friend drove me). And my friend was like "oh lord" and explained to me...and I kept saying "but I don't REMEMBER that! How can I not remember that?!!?"

So then the girl is all awkward because she has no ride and I've taken back my offer, so she's trying to figure out where she's going etc. She's up at the bar, and some other girl starts flirting with her. I apparently decide a brilliant idea is to go and ask her to kiss me...(no memory of this part) and she says NO.

...and then there was some kind of "here, [myfriend] should try on this jacket" on her and friend's part...and then somehow she and I did some kissing and she asked for (and I gave) my number.

RANDOM. But worse was when she texted me the next day and I was like "Uh, [friend]?? YOU NEED TO FILL ME IN because I know my perspective is skewed!!"

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Daisy Jane, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. That's awful.

Here's wishing work improves a bit, Vortex.

Lord, y'all. Out of four FM, one was late for the 4th time in 3 weeks, one has to leave early for his daughter's doctor appt, and one left at ten to go to the ER for a possible miscarriage.

the drama is the work, the drama is the work, the drama is the work...

Strength~ma, smonster. You didn't ask for it, but it's there for you to call on for those around you.

Oh, smonster. Good luck with the drama. So many teachable moments, so little time.
