The thing I love about Frank McCort's book Teacher Man and the way Cesar Millan works with biting dogs is that each embraces the reality that drama is when stuff really changes.

I have to trek out to my car and get my bag with all the papers to grade in it.
I think I'll salt the stairs and walk again. I know I'll have to shovel tomorrow, but maybe DH won't kill himself getting into the house today, and there'll be a little less snow to shovel tomorrow.

I think I may park in front of the TV with a cup of hot chocolate and watch episodes of Clean House while grading papers.
I know! I feel kind of bad about it -- "MOR SNOW NEWZ! -- but it's kind of the Big Thing going on right now.
My window is right here by my computer in the office, so I just keep watching it pour down.
The Blizardpocalypse isn't supposed to start here until 4 PM. But it sounds like it could be the biggest snowstorm in Chicago history. So, exciting!
