Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, Nora. That sucks. Unfortunately, I have no constructive advice, only sympathy.

Go, Vortex!! Good luck at the new job!

Steph, I can't access the pic of your corset at work, but I really like that skirt. For me, my only concern would be the length of the skirt. It would go to my ankles and I'm not sure how flattering that would be on me, but you are taller than me.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Good luck, Vortex. I hope the devil you don't know turns out to be better than the devil you know.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Good luck, Nora and Vortex.

So, did we know about the bats that roost in carnivorous plants? [link]

Now we do.

So awesome.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Good luck, Vortex. I hope the devil you don't know turns out to be better than the devil you know.

unfortunately, I do know this devil, and he's just as bad. I've worked for him before and he tells you what you want to hear. His intentions are good (unlike the previous boss), but he has no follow through. I just want a boss that I can trust. Is that so wrong?

but, thanks for the good wishes everyone. From your mouth to Chluthu's ears ;)

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Good luck Vortex and Nora!

IOmeN: ! I didn't get the job because I don't have an outgoing enough personality! Not that I'm not competent but that I'm not bubbly enough! That is so bogus, I'm really angry!

Why do I have to be something I'm not just to get a job. I can be as pleasant as I need to be, but isn't it more important for me to concentrate on learning to do a job right? How do I become a more outgoing person when it is not in my nature. Why is this the big obstacle in my way for getting a job?!

Good luck Vortex! Does that mean you have to commute to the law school?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I just want a boss that I can trust. Is that so wrong?

Not so wrong! I hate people that tell you what you want to hear. One of our pastors is like that...basically the same personality as when he was a serious addict. Drives me no end of crazy. And I'm sure I rub him the wrong way too, because I always tell him how it is, even when I know he doesn't want to know it. Why can't people just say stuff that's true?

Anyway, yeah, good luck.
