You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Hooray for Windsparrow returning home!

I am horribly, horribly hung over from the fundraiser last night. Whenever I drink when I'm in a negative head space always wallops me.

An 18-year-old showing me pictures of her dead best friend? And then sobbing in the bathroom stall next to me later in the night? I just... there are no words.

A really great story about Melissa and Rebecca (her mom), btw, for those who haven't seen it on my FB feed: [link]

ETA: and even the comments are nice!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, Nora. Despite the tears, I hope it was a great event celebrating Melissa's life and supporting Rebecca.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

And I was just coming to say that I had a little flip out last night about my uncle and really it's not something K&K can deal with right now so I feel terrible.

I just want to watch the Cotton Bowl and get terribly terribly drunk now.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Echoing Laura's thoughts for Andi.

Compassionately intolerant

Windsparrow, may all the comfort and love that you have sent in our direction countless times in the past loop back multiplied to welcome you home.

Laura said it best.

I love the comment from the person from California who said they also had a memorial service for Melissa there, and that 150 came to it. That's really lovely, despite the unfathomable loss.

And I was just coming to say that I had a little flip out last night about my uncle and really it's not something K&K can deal with right now so I feel terrible.

DJ, you're grieving, too. Flipping out can be part of that, and given these circumstances, I think it's to be expected.

I don't remember who K&K are, I'm sorry. But I was going to say that sure, they can't deal with your flipping out, but equally as valid is the fact that *you* can't deal with the seemingly casual, uncaring attitude your aunt is displaying right now, especially on FB where you can see it.

It's okay to flip out. You'll all get through it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

They are my cousins. Step-daughters to the aunt. They're my closest connection to that side of the family.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

~ma for Andi. I must've missed what's going on, but I did see that Daniel said she'd be home soon, yes?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

DJ, they haven't shared any specifics with us.

I am pleased to report that today is going much better. Yayes. I still haven't had The Talk with Temper Girl, but I'm waiting on a call before I can do that.
