Angel's lame. His hair goes straight up, and he's bloody stupid!

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Laura}}} That sounds like a rough day. I'm sorry for your friend's loss.

I have to go to my new doctor tomorrow. I hate having to talk about all my medical stuff with a new person, not to mention the pain issue which is still no closer to being solved.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Compassionately intolerant

Laura, sympathies to your friend and to you, if indeed he has to leave you.

You might want to have a vet check Brandy's nose for an obstruction or anything else that might be limiting her olfactory capabilities. The nose is pretty much the 'heart' of a dog's memory, no pun intended.

Our wings are not tired.

That is a good idea, bonny. Her smell is her only good sense these days as she has been deaf for a while and her vision ain't what it used to be either. She actually wakes from a deep sleep if I leave the room which makes us believe she misses my scent.

Good luck tomorrow, sj. May the new doctor have new solutions that alleviate your pain.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I hope everything goes well tomorrow, sj.

Laura, good thoughts for Brandy and I'm sorry about your coworker/friend's loss.

I've been trying to go to sleep for 45 min, including taking benedryl an hour ago. I think I need to switch to decaf. The fact that I can't stop thinking about the talk I need to have with that trainee tomorrow is not helping. Anyone have strategies for dealing with hair trigger tempers? I am conflict avoidy so I tend to... avoid. Which I'm not sure is the best course in this case.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Much, much all-purpose ~ma to Andi, to be applied as needed.

And smonster hugs, but no advice, as I am also conflict-avoidy and hair-trigger tempers make me break out in hives and cold sores.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What Laura said.

And I am sorry to hear that Brandi is declining. It's so hard.
