Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

WindSparrow, that's horribly irritating re the trash can. Did you get the numberplate of the driving instructor, to report them to their company, if they're from one?

Nah, when they were there, I didn't bother, because as far as I knew they were just being annoying, yet perfectly within their rights. It wasn't until I was leaving for work that I saw the trash can sitting in the street positioned just so.

The only plus to Andi's story? I was able to grab the handle of the trash can as I drove in, and dragged it along up to the house.

Okay, the start of the story was annoying (on their parts) but it has a fantastic finish.

Daniel loves to do that, but has been prevented from it for months because the electric motor on the driver's side window on the Grand Am was broken, and in the last few weeks because the snow banks are so high, we've been putting the trash out at the other side of the driveway, which is sidewalk that gets cleared by the businesses next door.

I've tried putting the trash cans (I believe in the UK they are referred to as wheelie bins), and can attest to the fact that it is, indeed, fun.

The other one? still at the curb, thank you very much.

When I left for work this morning, it had been blown into the street. I've now put it with its mate behind the house.

Most importantly, ND is healthy, and we have surrounded ourselves with dear friends who are like family to us. We are both working and able to pay the bills, and our first wedding anniversary is on Wednesday. I can't believe we were in Hawaii a year ago!

Wheee! Congratulations! I can't believe it's been a year! So much has happened, what a year it has been.

Happy 2011 everyone!!!

I just finished Skyping with OKcupid gal that is in China. It all started by me noticing her as a "visitor" to my profile, and sending her a note saying "I think you win the award for farthest from me" or something like that. We've exchanged a couple dozen e-mails now. She suggested Skype last week, to practice her English. I was expecting very broken English, from what she said, but it was very good! Made her laugh a lot. We seem to have a fair amount of similiar interest. Most notably being movies. What is it with me being interested in women I can not have? Anyhow, it was a great conversation. Would be interesting to see where this will lead to.
