Peace and strength amyth, to you and your family.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
It's being a hell of a winter {{{{ }}}}
Thoughts for you and your family, amyth.
I've tried putting the trash cans (I believe in the UK they are referred to as wheelie bins), and can attest to the fact that it is, indeed, fun.
I love putting the wheelie bins out. Much more fun than when we had non-wheeled bins. I shall try the 'while driving' trick!
amyth, my thoughts are with you and your family. This is such a hard time.
And, if you need anything when you are briefly in PDX, feel free to call but I totally understand the fast trips through towns. So only if there is something we can do to make things better for you during a rough time.
Thanks, Cass! I think the trip is going to be a complete whirlwind, but I hope to get back to Portland for a longer visit soon. T&G are too much a part of my life to stay away for long.
{{amyth and family}} Much peace and strength to you and yours.
Today is cooking day. Once again trying to cook and plan on the weekend for a weeks worth of healthy meals. Made spinach quiche this morning with the idea it would serve for a couple days of breakfast, hahahaha. Won't last a half hour. Big pot of veggie chili on the stove that smells incredible. I thought chili and salad would be good lunch stuff for DH for at least a couple days. I may eat the stuff every day for lunch. DH bought a chest freezer to help with the objective of having good stuff readily available. We both prefer my cooking to anything else but it is tough during the week.
My body has managed to completely adapt to sleeping in during this school break. Tomorrow morning is going to suck.
{{amyth}} So much love and peace to you and your family. That's a really tough thing to have to go through.
IOmeN, I was supposed to have company for NYE with Asti Spumonte and nibbles, but my brother got rear-ended on the way over to my place. He said there wasn't any visible damage, but he's driving my dad's rental (dad got T-boned a couple of weeks ago in his new-this-year-but-used car) and didn't want any hassle from either the police or the rental agency, so they went home after they filed their report. This just seems to be a crap winter for cars of friends and family; I think that's the fourth or fifth accident that I've heard about in the past month. So, I just want to send out car~ma to everyone, because it seems like the extra vibes just might be handy!
{{{amyth}}} So much ~ma to you and your family. I'm so sorry.
Teppy, the florastor probiotic is currently on sale 40% off at drugstore.com.
Thinking of you and your family, amyth. I'm so sorry.
Connie, I'm sorry for your loss as well.
Tomorrow morning is going to suck.
For you and Emmett both. He's been sleeping in until 11am. Tomorrow he has to get up at 6:30.
I made TJ's ginger cake mix yesterday and it turned out yum. I served it with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with homemade caramel sauce.
Today: Pie! I think. A cherry berry mix.
For some reason I associate cherry pie with the new year.
