Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Steph, the proper thing in that situation, is for both of you to pretend nothing happened, even if he knows.
Oh, I'm not gonna ask or anything. I'm just wondering if she blurted it out, as is her wont. (Seriously, the stories I could tell about what she thinks is acceptable conversation in restaurants -- oh my god. I think she was just born without any tact or shame whatsoever.)
Tact is just not saying true stuff. She'll pass.
I second Dana, I think. Good luck. And man, the year you've been through... I know it's not much, but you're in my thoughts. A lot.
And Typo - I'm sorry, I must have missed something here: Typo Boy "Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?" Dec 7, 2010 10:10:38 am PST are the two parts of your post connected?
All in all, btw, awesome day so far.
{{{ Steph }}} You have had a rough year. You have every right to say what ever you need saying to help you through it! That's what we are here for, no?
DCJ, that is awesome news! Way to go!
Nooo! And leave Fluffy?
She will be there tonight when I get home. And judging by past actions, odds are good I'll pass it in fluffy again. No worries!
ION- Forgot to mention last night, I too have finally paid off the visa! Woot! Debt free feels good. :: eyes new iPhone4 ::
Back from the doctor -- he did not give me the stink-eye, told me I probably wouldn't die from this cold (psht! like he knows), and doubled my AD dose.
So that happened.
How are you doing more generally, Steph?
How are you doing more generally, Steph?
Okay. Moderately overwhelmed with everything that happens this time of year. Still disgustingly happy with The Boy, though worried that my exacerbated depression is off-putting to him (which is something I worry every time my depression gets bad, so -- I'm true to form, I guess).
t edit
Thanks for asking.
Teppy, I hope the visit to the doctor makes you feel better.
Love Actually
Now you've all got me thinking about it, I know I've seen this movie at least twice, and I swear I cannot remember it. Hugh Grant was in it, and his story was stupid, and Colin went to America to get laid, and that was kinda stupid, and that's all I remember.
I really wanna go back to bed.
Oddly, when I think about any individual "love" story in Love Actually, I'm not a huge fan. The dad! Except it's really about the son, it's ridiculous, and the dad ends up with...Claudia Schiffer? WTF? The maid! Except...they can't even speak each other's language, and hardly know each other. Emma Thompson...has a shitty husband. And on and on. And yet, I love it anyway.
All right, y'all. Talk me down, please. I'm in a mild panic about tonight and can't concentrate on anything. I may be forced to start folding laundry for therapy.
