And, (much more easily) tracked down the best estimate for the value of slaves as a percentage of all assets in the U.S. in 1860. I'm afraid neither of those things qualify...

Oh, I'm not gonna ask or anything. I'm just wondering if she blurted it out, as is her wont. (Seriously, the stories I could tell about what she thinks is acceptable conversation in restaurants -- oh my god. I think she was just born without any tact or shame whatsoever.)

Back from the doctor -- he did not give me the stink-eye, told me I probably wouldn't die from this cold (psht! like he knows), and doubled my AD dose.

Okay. Moderately overwhelmed with everything that happens this time of year. Still disgustingly happy with The Boy, though worried that my exacerbated depression is off-putting to him (which is something I worry every time my depression gets bad, so -- I'm true to form, I guess).

Now you've all got me thinking about it, I know I've seen this movie at least twice, and I swear I cannot remember it. Hugh Grant was in it, and his story was stupid, and Colin went to America to get laid, and that was kinda stupid, and that's all I remember.
