White Christmas is my OTHM. I look forward to it with giddy anticipation.
Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
So glad they got the fire in Israel under control but so saddened by all the losses.
Love Actually is my OTHM with When Harry Met Sally and Meet Me in St. Louis as my backups.
I may have slightly skewed holiday viewing tastes.
The Shop Around The Corner is my holiday movie, with Meet Me in St. Louis a close second.
Christmas in Connecticut, Holiday Inn, Desk Set, and, uh, Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol.
Also, for some reason, lots of ballet. Like, I get totally into the Battle of the Nutcrackers on Ovation TV.
Love Actually for me, too!
Speaking of movies, Nate saw his first Monty Python (Holy Grail) at a friend's house yesterday and thought it brilliant and hysterical. Came home full of accusatory glares that we hadn't enriched his life yet.
Then dissolved into giggles as we started quoting lines at him.
Nightmare Before Christmas, The Ref
(Go on, act surprised.)
Love, Actually, Elf, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Love Actually and It's a Wonderful Life.
The Ref, Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life. Emmett will usually get a viewing of Home Alone in during that stretch. (He loves The Ref and Christmas Story too.)
I'm more about the kids specials than movies, I think. Gotta have Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch, Rudolph, The Snowman, Little Drummer Boy, Olive the Other Reindeer plus special xmas episodes of The Adventures of Pete & Pete, and Futurama, and most especially Invader Zim.
