Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Spike's Bitches 46: Don't I get a cookie?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Nightmare Before Christmas, The Ref

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Love Actually and It's a Wonderful Life.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The Ref, Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life. Emmett will usually get a viewing of Home Alone in during that stretch. (He loves The Ref and Christmas Story too.)

I'm more about the kids specials than movies, I think. Gotta have Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch, Rudolph, The Snowman, Little Drummer Boy, Olive the Other Reindeer plus special xmas episodes of The Adventures of Pete & Pete, and Futurama, and most especially Invader Zim.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's a Wonderful Life. I still burst into tears at "Here's to my big brother George, the richest man in town."

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

"It's a Wonderful Life" is my holiday favorite, hands down. I do "Holiday Inn" and "A Christmas Story" as well. I'd probably do more things regularly, but I don't own them. I'm fond of The Grinch but I don't own it, for instance...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I love "Christmas in Connecticut" and "White Christmas." I'd never really thought of "Meet Me In St. Louis" as a Christmas movie -- it has a Christmas scene, but it takes place over the course of a year, doesn't it? I used to go see The Nutcracker every year, when my friend was still dancing with ABT, but she just retired, so I guess I'll watch it on TV or something.

Right, it has a famous Halloween scene too. But Judy Garland does sing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" in it.
