Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The Washington Folk Festival features performers from the DC-area. The highlight of yesterday for me was Tom Paxton. Today there are a few performers that would be nice to see, but nothing that big.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Currently watching: Old L&O with Julianna Margulies and Chris Noth.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My stupid Uncle of the Eviction has my grandmother's vintage Pyrex nesting bowls. I want a set like woah. Macaronia nd cheese taste best when made in a pyrex bowl.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think I officially hate Three more than Two. We spent ALL FUCKING MORNING either dealing with or heading off meltdowns. Over such catastrophic events as me saying "no, you may not jump up and down on the couch holding a pencil." (I know, I know - I'm the meanest Mom of all time.)

Thankfully, DH agreed to take him to the playground while I hang out here doing laundry. You know what my favorite thing about laundry is? No whining!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Whining laundry would be something worth seeing. "Why do you have to use that powder? It itches on my stitches." "You've mixed me in with the shirts again. I hate being mixed in with the shirts, they're such drama queens. Can't I go in with the towels for once?" "The top loader again? How come I never get to sit next to the window?"

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Heh, I'm hard to scare off!!

Currently Watching: Vampire Diaries. Haven't finished the first season, but someone online recommended it and since DVDs are like six cents in China, I picked it up last weekend and should I be embarrassed at how much I am enjoying it? I am worried.

My little brothers and I have developed this smug little superiority complex in our self-proclaimed superior taste in television shows, and I'm a little concerned that they may vote me out of our family if they find out I am watching this!

ALSO: I might do laundry more often if it talked to me. Someone work on this.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I've been writing state and US reps and senators about donating a State of Michigan and a US Flag to my GIrl Scout troop. I hope it goes through. It would be awesome to get them.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My horrible moment thus far was saying "get dressed". We've been in a tailspin from that since 9:15.

Demanding, demanding moms what with the get dressed and don't stabbinate your eye with a pencil.

If they do donate the State of Michigan to your troop, make sure you're indemnified from having to prop up the auto companies. That one should stay with the government.
