More info on the bus crash
Bus passengers told WGN-TV that the driver appeared to struggle with the steering wheel, and that some of the standing-room-only passengers tried to help the driver turn the wheel.
The fact that the bus was crowded appeared to help cushion some of the people who were thrown forward when the bus went off the road and hit the trees, a passenger said.
A CTA spokesman at the scene said the agency's investigation would include interviewing passengers, looking at the "black box" showing functions of the bus systems, looking at bus videos and looking at the mechanical condition of the bus itself.
Huh.

I usually wear foundation and lip balm(Blistex), with eyeliner most days. If I'm going to be outside in hot weather, where I'll be sweating a lot, I forgo the foundation for sunscreen. If I'm getting dressed up I add lipstick and face powder. (If I'm dressing up for a con banquet, I add mascara, which I don't really need)
I don't remember when I started wearing foundation. I suspect it was in college. I did occasionally wear lipstick in high school.(I can remember wearing a shade called stoplight red one day and being asked by a girl in a mohawk why my lips were orange)
I'd rather give up mascara than lipstick, fo sho. Actually, what I need to focus on is getting back to wearing sunscreen every day, since I'll be outside all the time.
Wait, they made B:TAS? Or does that not stand for Buffy?
I deleted my season passes for Glee and Undercovers. I am disappointed in how boring the latter is, and I don't like any of the characters. Gugu and Boris being hot is sadly not enough.
mascara.
I almost always wear a powder foundation if I am going in public, I have very dark circles under my eyes.
The Kevin Aucoin books are good for make-up info. When I do full make-up I do shading I learned from them to make my bone-structure look better than it is.
I eased into foundation with tinted moisturizer, which I bought at a department store, so they picked the color. Now I wear drugstore liquid foundation.
I never wear wet foundation or use moisturizer. To this day, I have oily skin and acne. I wear a powder foundation and eye liner. I only use more, like shadow, mascara and blush for special occasions. I never wear lipstick because I have yellow teeth and my lips are naturally kind of maroon. I use a lot of plain old Chapstick.

Possibly my aversion to foundation is a freckle thing? When I've worn it, I kind of think I look like a wax dummy of myself. Possibly this means I'm doing it wrong, but I find my lack of freckles disturbing.
Luther starts tomorrow.
Week from tomorrow, according to my onscreen guide.
I find my lack of freckles disturbing.
Same here. There's not really any blemish I could cover over that wouldn't also blank my freckles, and then who would I be? They are, despite the fact some people don't notice them, integral to my impression of my face, and my familial resemblance. They help me look like the Moulton branch of my mother's family. It's the only family resemblance we have, and it's pretty pervasive, so I don't give it up lightly.
I have to keep hydrating. I don't want there to be another vein fiasco at the ER tonight. I don't want there to be any kind of fiasco, but this I have some minimal whit of control over. plump up me veins. More juice it is.
