Wow, I am teared up on ita's behalf. I could ot do anything to her nurses and doctor's though, because I cry when I am angry I will support Vortex, Erin, et als who can actually use righteous anger.
Also, I am FREEZING. My cat is staying in that attic because it is warmer and I have lost my kitty warmer, and I am damned if I put the heat on. ANd I can't close the window, because then I have no internet.
Yeah, those questions are...odd, indeed.
[Q1]
I don't think electron affinity and anion formation are the same thing, and neither one would be considered "positive or negative," per se. Well, let's say negative, since electrons are negative and anions are negative.
[Q2]
This one seems backwards, like he means to ask how electrons work in ionic bonds.
[Q3]
Use WHAT?
Donald Duck Meets Glenn Beck. [link]
Yeah, P-C, I didn't think those were the same thing, either.
I assume he means "use ionic compound formation". I've seen him put sentences together like that before.
Thanks, dcp!
I thought it was Vegetarian Times, but they've got more than one recipe online, and I'd originally picked the wrong one.
Debet, DH gave the whole thing a 'buh?', adding: q1 election affinity is defined as positive. Q2 makes no sense. Q3 is reasonable, if grammatically derelict.
Man, it was a bitch to peel and seed and cut up, though. Disinclines me to use butternut squash in the future.
Dana, when I make that recipe, I don't peel/seed/cut up the squash -- I actually just cut it in half vertically, scoop out the seeds and string-y good, and then bake it. That makes it soft enough to scoop out, at which point I proceed with the rest of the recipe.
Is Cass in that self-harm derby, or does she just do improbable things like set water on fire?
Ha! I try to not mention some of the self-harm. Like when I stumbled getting out of a bus recently. I was, apparently, tired of the old scar tissue on my knee and wanted new scar tissue.
Setting water on fire is just so weird that I have to post about it every time. My parents have all been irradiated but I am the one with a ridiculous superpower.

I...didn't even notice that the recipe said to peel and dice before cooking. I just popped mine in the oven halved and scooped so it would be ready tomorrow when I'm actually going to eat it.
(Minor rant about Veg Times recipes - "taco sauce" and "enchilada sauce" are not ingredients in my world! At least link to a homemade version, please magazine? So I know what the hell these things are supposed to taste like?)
