Happy birthday Matilda !
so sorry , Theresa
I tend to drink red wines in the 8- 15 dollar range, whites in the 10 - 20 dollar range - so at 25 dollars for reds I'd be guessing but I was pleased to see my new favorite (Folie A Deux's Menage a Trois Red ) mentioned.
Concert day in town -- It will be warm
Definitely not what I'd expect at a retirement community, megan.
Happy birthday to Matilda!
As you might have seen, I was up 'til 4am last night. Good god. Kinda woke up hourly from 8 on this morning... Finally got up around 11. Gotta stop doing this to myself.
ita, I hope the assertiveness tips work.

Well, it is a retirement community on the edge of the Tenderloin, but still.
Things have definitely calmed down, but no one has been brought out yet.
I think the shots I heard were police shots, but there were a lot of them in succession (and I immediately ran into the bathroom just in case so I'm a bit fuzzy on what I heard).
ETA: And, the news cameras are here. The progression is fascinating.
That's too too much excitement. A woman was shot to death after stabbing several cops a couple of blocks away on my street a month or two ago, and we got lots of news copters buzzing around overhead for the next several hours. Like they could actually
see
something beneath all the trees.
My recommendation for a red would be Ca' de Medici Lambrusco.
Stretcher and paramedics came out
sans
person and the 4 news cameras are set up outside the entrance. Perp walk perhaps?
Note: the elderly residents are just coming and going like this happens everyday.
ita, that woman sounded smart to me.
I wonder if you could hire some sort of part-time medical advocate to come with you on trips to the ER, so they could help with the negotiations when you're not at your best.
