Isn't it already the case that you can't use "my religion told me too" as a defense for murder/assault/etc?
Correct.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Correct.
The researchers used selective breeding and high-resolution ultrasonography to demonstrate that a male hare can fertilize a female during late pregnancy. The resulting embryos will develop around four days before delivery of the first pregnancy.
Thank the Flying Spaghetti Monster humans don't work like this.
I think my grandmother gave it the good old college try though. Gave birth to 10 kids (9 separate pregnancies).
I know we've discussed this before, but I'm curious what the shortest amount of time is between human pregnancies. (Not as in the Guiness Book of World Records, but among peole we know.) I know siblings who are three days less than a year apart, but that's the closest I know of.
The closest sibs I know personally are about 14 months apart.
Sibs less than a year apart must have been at least somewhat common at some point, given that there's a racist term for it. (Irish twins.)
I knew someone in college who was 10 months older then her sister.
Today is such fail. I don't feel well enough to haul my ass to the drug store, where they have things taht would make me feel better, and I have a ton of food in the fridge, but am eating a can of soup for lunch.

I'm guessing it was a LOT more common before the pill. (And NuvaRing, IUDs, etc. Basically it's easy to forget condoms when you're sleep deprived.)
Oh yeah. And when breastfeeding wasn't so popular?
