"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mm, SuziQ, sounds delish. So does Vortex`s chicken. Bet it smells good too.

I love garlic but not roasted garlic, so that trick won`t work for me. But garlic keeps by itself pretty well if you have a dark cool place. We harvested all our garlic last month and it`ll be good pretty much through February or March when it`ll start to sprout regardless of how well I`ve stored it. Admittedly my climate is drier than yours mostly, but garlic is in general a good keeper. I usually have on hand all the things Vortex mentioned, and if I don`t use them I throw them in the freezer until stock making time. The next time I make stock l`m going to can it instead of freeze it, for easier use. Same with spaghetti sauce, and the salsa verde if I can ever find tomatillos again.

One of my favourite freezing tricks is to pour the ends of bottles of wine into sandwich bags and freeze them. Then whenever you need a glass or so of vino for a recipe, you can just throw it in. Especially useful after a party.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ooh, that`s a great trick. I know you`re also supposed to be able to freeze fresh herbs in ice cube trays, but I`ve never tried it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've started freezing little baggie-size portions of the Daiya "Mozzarella Style Shreds" (fake cheese made from safflower oil and flax seed that is actually live cultured with whatever yeast it is that produces authentic mozzarella smell and taste). That's because, being live cultured and all, it goes off much faster than I can finish a regular bag of it.

information libertarian

Personally I would much rather have a pap smear than a dental cleaning. Signed, possibly has teeth issues.

Casper and I are going to roller derby tonight! Poor mr. flea gets to stay home and watch a movie with two 4 year old boys. I wonder if we have any beer.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, amyth, how difficult. Thoughts are with your family.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, amyth. Best thoughts to your family. I can't even imagine.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, god, amyth. All sorts of strength in your direction. And I hope it's a whole lot of nothing, Drew.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hand swelling pretty much all the way down, only hurts to the touch. So, don't touch. Simple enough.

Simple enough in theory. Not, in my experience, something I excel at in practice.

But then I am regrowing the skin on my knee yet again.

Bilateral rocks when you only injure one side. You can see where is swelling and where is odd human lumpiness.

ita, where do you order the cool band-aids from? Local selection has disappointed me now that I've tried the good stuff.
