Tara: What's so bad about them coming here? Aren't they good guys? I mean, Watchers, that's just like whole other Gileses, right? Buffy: Yes! They're scary and horrible!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, amyth, how difficult. Thoughts are with your family.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man, amyth. Best thoughts to your family. I can't even imagine.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, god, amyth. All sorts of strength in your direction. And I hope it's a whole lot of nothing, Drew.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Hand swelling pretty much all the way down, only hurts to the touch. So, don't touch. Simple enough.

Simple enough in theory. Not, in my experience, something I excel at in practice.

But then I am regrowing the skin on my knee yet again.

Bilateral rocks when you only injure one side. You can see where is swelling and where is odd human lumpiness.

ita, where do you order the cool band-aids from? Local selection has disappointed me now that I've tried the good stuff.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Drew. I hope they can fix you!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Amy, strength to you and your family. And best possible outcome to your Brother, whatever that may be.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Oh, amyth! I think Typo Boy said it well. Best possible outcomes to you and yours and to Drew.

Drew totally deserves a break. C'mon universe!!!

Okay, some muscle relaxants and a hot bath sem to have staved off a headache. My sister, who is here until tomorrow, is out for supper. What should I do with my evening.

I also went to my very first estate auction this morning. I impulse bought two watercolours (in one lot) but I realized when I got them home, they're painting of the same thing! I like the both, they're just the same scene. I really wanted the vintage Xmas ornaments, but those lots didn't come up by the time I agreed to leave. Kind of wishing I told my sis to leave and stayed there until they came up. Anyway, it was so much fun! I'm totally going to go when they're in town...just for the entertainment value.
