Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, if I had to have my leg amputated, I wouldn't want to eat that.

OMG, this made me laugh really hard.

I just spent a really long time chatting with a coworker instead of pretending to work working.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

If you want to get really pissed? Read former Blossom star's comments in this article:

I have no words whatsoever for that article. Fuck her.

Oh wait. Guess I did have the words.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

There will always be jerks to capitalize on things, but that doesn't mean that all people who explore these things do so just to be jerks.

No, not everyone, but there seems to be a prevalent (and to me, irritating) attitude that the culture of motherhood revolves, or should revolve around, one-upmanship on all the other mothers around them in the name of raising the bestest special snowflake ever in the whole entire world and will be way better than your stupid kid cause I did "X" and you did not. Sometimes it's about how long you breastfeed. Sometimes it's about owning an $800 stroller. Sometimes it's about eating a placenta.

Those people? Are jerks. And they are becoming more and more numerous everyday within the culture of motherhood.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, fuck her and the high horse she rode in on.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm referring to Balik's quote:

In an e-mail Bialik sends after our meeting, she goes back to my idea that some women weren't meant to have babies the holistic way. "There are those among us who believe that if the baby can't survive a home labor, it is OK for it to pass peacefully," she writes. "I do not subscribe to this, but I know that some feel that … if a baby cannot make it through birth, it is not favored evolutionarily."

I want to punch her in the face.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yeah. That's the one that made me see rage.

Our wings are not tired.

Bialik is probably anti-vaccinations, too. 'cause you know, to die of a disease is just part of the evolutionary process.

Because books.

"I do not subscribe to this, but I know that some feel that … if a baby cannot make it through birth, it is not favored evolutionarily."

Wow. Does that mean I cheated death because I couldn't make it through labor without a C-section and intervention the first time around?

And if it does, good for me. Screw evolution. Medical science has *evolved* for a reason.

"I do not subscribe to this, but I know that some feel that … if a baby cannot make it through birth, it is not favored evolutionarily."

I want to punch her in the face.

You should, and if she can't run fast enough from all the fists flying at her face, it's because she wasn't favoured evolutionarily.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wasn't the world awesome before modern medicine??
