The problem is the dog. She's pretty old now and I'm worried about flying in this heat. I'm just trying to get an idea of the $$$ involved.
And its not that money is NO object, but its not a huge one since someone else is bringing me down to help out with a sick relative.
I know Enterprise used to do one-way, Trudy. But I think the locations varied.
Also, you could do the auto-train for part of it!
No doggies on Amtrak :(
Flying with the dog makes the flight pretty pricey too. Oy.
Hertz def does one way and I know experiences vary but I've never had problems with them.
Oh, Facebook. I have a random friend request from some dude who lists Fox News as an interest. How does that even happen?
It would be a 20 hour drive.
::gulp::
That's a fur piece driving solo.

In my experience? High school.
I drove one way from Disneyland to LAX by way of Agua Dulce. Not the massive drive you have, but the rental process was pretty easy and much less than I expected. We went through Enterprise, if I remember correctly.
shrift, I got a strange request from some guy I don't know in Milwaukee with no mutual friends. It freaks me out.
I think I love these.
Sighhh...
My Aunt is sick, cancer. My Uncle wants to bring her up to Sloane Kettering for treatment. Her Mother lives with them and cannot be left alone. As I am not so employed I'll be going down to stay with her.
(Amusingly, to me, my Uncle may well be staying in MY apartment while I'm in his house.)
So we're trying to best figure out getting me and Dallas down there. Since we don't know how long this would be, Dallas really needs to come with. Madness ensues. She's a little to big to travel in the cabin with me. She flew several times when she was younger, but I'm concerned now as she is quite elderly. What to do... What to do...
