Awesome, thank you.

I am so happy to be in my bed. the house is a mess and not likely to get vastly better before the end of next week as I have to get in 5 hours of work a day and also have to do stuff like: get a TX DL, take mac to the new therapist, get a a mattress for mac's trundle and so uncle g can sleep on it (he gets in Thurs night, did I mention that?), register mac for school, go to celebrate my grandma's 97th b'day (whoot, go grandma!), figure out what I need to do to be a sole-proprietor in TX, negotiate an hourly rate with my job as a consultant. crash.
must go to bed, too many things. the cats are both trying to smother me. I think they are just as happy to have the bed back.
XanGo? Exactly my kind of juice, but no way in hell worth more than, maybe, $6 a bottle. As if. We had someone shilling us, and I wrangled a bottle. I feel victorious.
Seriously, I *don't* abide shitty wine, and I've developed a super-power of finding very good bottles of wine in the $10-15 range. It's not hard.
Me too.
I have a Trader Joe's across the street. And live in an area that appreciates wine. It's easy for me to find something wonderful to drink in that range or slightly under.
I love good wine but I don't love spending too much. Plus I like finding under-appreciated wines and supporting those producers.

Yes! (Or, sometimes, countries. Hello, Chile.)
XanGo scares me. I think anything that uses the words flavonids is terrifying.
Then again, I feed my kid sardines in juice format so what do I know?
Dude, remind me to tell you the eggs in a blender (with antibiotics) story. My dad made me eat that. And not through a tube. I had to taste that shit.
(Although a really hairy old vines zinfandel can usually convince me to part with my money. I'm a zin whore.)
Teppy, old vines zin lover? You absolutely need to get your hands on some Mayo. If you can't find it locally, you can have a taste when you and the boy come back out to CA.
Any 'ffistas have any experience with a one-way rental car? I may be driving down to Florida for some family stuff. Hertz seems like it might be reasonable.
Do you need to drive? Because I can't imagine one-way is cheaper than flying.
