Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

I drove one way from Disneyland to LAX by way of Agua Dulce. Not the massive drive you have, but the rental process was pretty easy and much less than I expected. We went through Enterprise, if I remember correctly.

Now tagless for your comfort.

shrift, I got a strange request from some guy I don't know in Milwaukee with no mutual friends. It freaks me out.

I think I love these.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sighhh...

My Aunt is sick, cancer. My Uncle wants to bring her up to Sloane Kettering for treatment. Her Mother lives with them and cannot be left alone. As I am not so employed I'll be going down to stay with her.

(Amusingly, to me, my Uncle may well be staying in MY apartment while I'm in his house.)

So we're trying to best figure out getting me and Dallas down there. Since we don't know how long this would be, Dallas really needs to come with. Madness ensues. She's a little to big to travel in the cabin with me. She flew several times when she was younger, but I'm concerned now as she is quite elderly. What to do... What to do...

Two 10 hour days is doable. I can pretty much go three hours before I need a break. Not even a big break.

I could do 2.5, li'l break, 2.5 lunch, 2.5 li'l break, 2.5 bed. Repeat.

Air conditioning, an iPod dock... it's not too crazy.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I have never heard of XanGo before, but the whole pyramid scheme/sketchy science combo reminds me of alkaline water.

I'm at a loss for ideas for something to send to J. She will be in Neuro-ICU at least through the end of the week, so no flowers. My contact at the Giants doesn't work there anymore. My friend at the A's doesn't have any River Cat's connections. For now I'll just have to find a very PINK Get Well card for her, but I want to do something more.

In my experience? High school.

No, this is some random dude in Illinois whom I've never met and with whom I have no friends in common. If he's trolling for FB booty, listing Fox News as an interest is an even more effective cockblock than his face.

I have, like, 6 of these.

Man, I need to go to bed.

Wrong Giants, Scrappy. Though that would be worth a giggle. I really considered having the A's send a Get Well card or something.

Would need to check on balloons. I know they don't like latex due to potential allergy issues, especially with someone who had just had spinal surgery.
