I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Looks like I will be getting radishes in my box next week. I have no idea what to do with radishes. Everything else will be stuff I actively want, though, so it's a small challenge.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Radish top soup and radish salad! Radishes are my favorite veggie!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Radishes are also yummy pickled.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Atten Hec: Zepplin in the sky:

Thanks, Sue! Historypin is cool.

Go CJ!

Emmett and I will be heading over to Best Buy to spend an old gift card, and enjoy my favorite taco truck which is parked near their lot.

I expect he will either buy the Hangover or Teen Titans S3 (which is the only season we don't own for some reason).

Love, Emeline's text. I got bsgety immediately but couldn't parse Shef because it just made me think of the baseball player Gary Sheffield.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Shef had me stumped too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

How high are you supposed to raise your knees in the standing march test?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We have smart people here - exactly how much mucus/phlegm can one body continue making for TWO FLIPPING WEEKS?? Seriously. Kleenex called me yesterday to thank me for their significant raise in early 3rd quarter profit numbers.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Shef had me stumped too.

I read it as Yiddish for a minute.

I have both been there and gotten the phone call. And I will repeat what I always say: if the human body doesn't ordinarily just have massive amounts of snot waiting to be blown out, then when you have a cold, WHERE DOES IT COME FROM?!? And my conclusion is that it's not snot, but braiiiiiiiiiiiins that you're actually blowing out.

(I know, the body makes snot in response to the cold/allergies/etc., but I like my explanation better.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How high are you supposed to raise your knees in the standing march test?

Not overly high.
