Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Batman vs. Donkey Kong

deviantART user deankotz comes up with a great pairing. But given their temperaments, I see Batman and Donkey Kong as, ultimately, natural allies. Perhaps that’ll come in a later issue.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

And is a beach with penguins automatically formal?

I'm suddenly having a vision of formal beach wedding with penguins ....

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I just got my AP scores back (from my students). Last year I had 59 kids take the kids and 5 had scores of 3 or higher. This year I had 39 kids take the test and 11 had scores of 3 or higher. That's kinda nice, but still deplorably low.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

TC's TC on feeding kids.

Thanks for the link, that's a great interview. He's repeating a lot of the same things he said to Congress.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This. The article was great. Then there were about two good comments, and several headdesky ones.

Because books.

I never even think to read the comments anymore. I love what he said about being a celebrity, too, and using it to do good and testify instead of getting drunk somewhere.

The article is really good -- the whole thing about obesity and poverty is right on.
