I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My options for my allergies these days seem to be 1) take Zyrtec on top of my nasal spray and end up wanting to sleep during the day, or 2) do not take Zyrtec, do not pass go, do not suffer in silence.

t sniffle

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Thank god for AC at work

Yeah. After a three-day weekend with temps in the 90s, I was actually looking forward to going to work in AC comfort today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can only surmise that August (or perhaps July from tomorrow on) will be an oven in LA. Because it was drizzling this morning. What comes after June gloom?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dana, I take Zyrtec about an hour before I go to bed at night to avoid the daytime sleepies. Might that work for you?

The status is NOT quo.

Huh. Zyrtec makes you sleepy? Maybe that explains the desire to nap I've had lately. D'oh!

That's when I was taking it, sadly.

It's a possible side effect. After Saturday and Sunday, when I got lots of sleep, and then napped during the day, I figured I'd cut out the Zyrtec. Yesterday, no urge to nap.

Oh.

It is a dilemma. As far as I've found, there is no antihistamine that doesn't cause drowsiness, no matter what the box says.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Hubs has the day off because the A/C wasn't working at his office. Of course, he's spending it with Max.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

What comes after June gloom?

Fire.

You are too right.

I got dragged into something at work that was then deemed something that should never have been done, and somehow all arrows are pointing at me. I'm really trying to work out how to redirect stuff in the right direction, and am very annoyed that everyone else on the email chain that knows what went down is keeping mum. Grr. Not this week, guys.
