Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

The status is NOT quo.

Sparky, I gave a friend a Harry and David gift basket when she lost her mother, and she loved it because it showed love but also gave her something to snack on when she was too busy or down to make food for herself.

If you want something else, you can go to any of the major flower websites; they have baskets beyond just flowers.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

When I woke up this morning I was double booked for noon. I left a message to get out of one appt, but by 10:30 cancelled the other. Then at 11:20 the first appt called and we dealt with things on the phone thus making the in-person appt unnecessary. Now I free until 1. Whew!

Also managed to get a few house things done.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I received a cool gift basket from my ex-boss that featured Yellowtail wine (3 bottles). I thought the alcohol was an odd choice but the other goodies were much more appreciated.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Ugh. 97 degrees outside. Thank god for AC at work, but I'm really not looking forward to going out into this later. At least yesterday there was a nice sea breeze.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My options for my allergies these days seem to be 1) take Zyrtec on top of my nasal spray and end up wanting to sleep during the day, or 2) do not take Zyrtec, do not pass go, do not suffer in silence.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Thank god for AC at work

Yeah. After a three-day weekend with temps in the 90s, I was actually looking forward to going to work in AC comfort today.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can only surmise that August (or perhaps July from tomorrow on) will be an oven in LA. Because it was drizzling this morning. What comes after June gloom?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dana, I take Zyrtec about an hour before I go to bed at night to avoid the daytime sleepies. Might that work for you?

The status is NOT quo.

Huh. Zyrtec makes you sleepy? Maybe that explains the desire to nap I've had lately. D'oh!
