Wesley: Feng Shui. Gunn: Right. What's that mean again? Wesley: That people will believe anything. Actually, in this place, Feng Shui will probably have enormous significance. I'll align my furniture the wrong way and suddenly catch fire or turn into a pudding.

I think it was anti icky poo, actually now that I searched more. Sophia, with the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, what do you put down first?

I need to do a cleaning of some areas after the movers clear this place out, then I want to be stocked with stuff at the new house. 4 rooms are carpet and I FEAR that Oz is going to be trouble.

Happy Birthday Frank!

Msbelle, there's a Cdn company called Nature Clean has a product that's peroxide based that's great for urine. (It took a few tries but it got rid of a persisitant urine smell on my steps.) It also does well on cat puke. But it has fadedmy sisal rug in places. [link]

Also, if there's a Scrappy show DVD mail chain, put me on the list!

well I have got more than a bottle of peroxide here, so I will use that on the spots post movers for sure. I'd like to leave the place as odor free as possible.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Laura, I'm pretty sure that 35 can't really outdo 33/34. That fucking rocked. I think I just don't like the number 35.

Heh, I am so with you there. 33 was tough, because I just didn't like the number. Most of the other 30-numbers were okay, though 39 I have no affection for. 25 and 26 were no good either.

(Mind you, none of this had anything to do with what was actually happening any of those years. With 40 coming around the bend, it's the first time I'm caring about a number other than for how it resonates.)

My great-great-grandfather Zachary S. Walker was born and lived in northern Alabama.

My great-great-grandfather James W. Walker was from Alabama but moved to Tennessee as an adult and served in the Sixth Tennessee.

Happy birthday, Frank!

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Ginger, e-mail me his details and I'll see if there is a connection.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

DH is looking to pin down a word that describes something that has value beyond intrinsic.

Bob suggests conditional value, instrumental value or final value, but I suspect those are too Kantian for your needs.

Did I miss the "what are folks doing this weekend" call?

Tomorrow we start off with chores, then a group karate class, followed by an hour for the demo team. Home, shower, and the meet up with the dojo rats to see The Last Airbender. Should be a crowd of us - students from 4 different dojos are meeting up. After the movie, there is a pizza party.

Sunday starts with marching in the local Parade. Followed by a nap. In the evening we are meeting up with friends to see an outdoor concert by Firefall and then FIREWORKS.

Monday = sleep.
