Well, other bands know more than three chords. Your professional bands can play up to six, sometimes seven, completely different chords.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

DH is looking to pin down a word that describes something that has value beyond intrinsic.

Bob suggests conditional value, instrumental value or final value, but I suspect those are too Kantian for your needs.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Did I miss the "what are folks doing this weekend" call?

Tomorrow we start off with chores, then a group karate class, followed by an hour for the demo team. Home, shower, and the meet up with the dojo rats to see The Last Airbender. Should be a crowd of us - students from 4 different dojos are meeting up. After the movie, there is a pizza party.

Sunday starts with marching in the local Parade. Followed by a nap. In the evening we are meeting up with friends to see an outdoor concert by Firefall and then FIREWORKS.

Monday = sleep.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Happy Birthday Frank!

I did laundry at my parents' from 2004 to 2007 because driving to work with a basket of dirty laundry in my back seat once a week was WAY better than spelunking down underneath my building to use the laundry room in the basement. I half expected to find "Helter Skelter" written on the door to the ramshackle little bathroom down there, and the one overhead light bulb was always threatening to flicker out and let me stumble around over dirt floors and loose bricks to feel my way back to the stairs.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Three things I know I am doing this weekend:

  • watching myself on TV
  • listening to my mom squee about watching me on TV
  • the laundry

I am hoping to add seeing Toy Story 3 to that list.

I went a little crazy at the market. Pound of spinach, pints of cherries, yellow grape tomatoes, apricots, wee little m-something plums, and 2 spinach empanadas. And now I need to go to the store... Gotta restock.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Today I'm going to our local annual zero waste local music and artists raise money to buy up land along the river festival, Festival for the Eno. Tomorrow I need to go into work for a while, and then I'm invited to a cookout. Monday is back to the festival - I'm helping with the zero waste cleanup portion.
