Left work early, and had a leisurely walk home with errands. Drugstore: check! Bank: check! Library: check! Farmers' market: check!
msbelle, I had so many dramatic good-byes from my last job, it was ridiculous. But it is different in person...

At my parents' house for less than an hour and Dylan has already injured himself. Sigh. (Stubbed his little toe hard enough to almost rip the nail off. Ouch!)
Ouch is right!
Someone who set up one of my interviews sent me a meeting request at my Yahoo address. Oops. Heh.
Ahrg. Leave work early, get to pool, shower...pool closes. AHRG. Oh well. Will go later.

Oh, Ghana. I watched the second half on (at work) and had to leave just after the missed red card kick. So sad. That hand ball save would totally have been a goal.
Whoa. Just found out my sister's high school best friend died yesterday. They took her off life support two weeks after a suicide attempt. It's hard to reconcile the bubbly and vivacious teenager she was with someone brought that low, but my sister had just gotten back in touch with her a few months ago and didn't know the details of her life.
It's so terribly sad when someone runs out of options like that.
Oh man, ita. That's sad.
Oh my god, that's so sad.
It feels so freaking random. I found her on Facebook a couple months ago and pushed my sister into friending her, so they chatted a little, and then today my sister gets a message from a stranger telling her T has died, call for more details.
And now she's swept up into the drama of trying to find T's family...none of her other friends even seem to know where her father lives. It's so terrible.
