Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Compliment lady strikes again. Except she's still talking about yesterday's outfit. It's obvious that she means Elphaba as a compliment, and I'm taking it as such, but you can't just tell people they look like the Wicked Witch of the West...okay, maybe if their tights were stripy. It just seems a little dodgy.

I have to say, the cowboy boots are fun. I wish I could have found a fancier pair in my size, though.

Right. Lunch. But first, status report.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

A bunch of interesting laws passed in NY yesterday. Became the first state to have workplace protections for domestic workers, and the last to allow no-fault divorce. [link] The second-to-last state to allow no-fault divorce was South Dakota, which passed the law in 1985.

Well today has basically been a waste. SERIOUSLY. did a tutorial with talky mctalker guy this morning. had fancy lunch with boss and managers, nice. then they had surprise cake for me, nice. people all wanted to chat, nice, but I am working remotely all next week. c'mon people.

Now almost everyone is gone and I am finally getting some of the stuff done that I needed to. I may come down on the 4th to watch the fireworks and if mac is into that, we will just come early, let him watch a movie on his iPod and I can put in a couple hours of work.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Status reports. Right. I've been slacking on those. Haven't turned one in for weeks. Surprised my boss hasn't yelled at me.

They let us go at 2 today, but I'm still working. I'm behind schedule because I foolishly took a couple vacation days. Oh well. I'm still grumpy about the five vacation days I took last December because I'd have lost them if I didn't, but I worked all five days anyway. Like they're gonna give me that time back.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Smonster, sorry - no luck. They had very little in the way of one-pieces in stock at all.

Phoeey. Thanks for looking!

For anyone interested, it looks like the Ghana-Uruguay game is going to go to penalty kicks.
