Oh man, ita. That's sad.

Oh my god, that's so sad.
It feels so freaking random. I found her on Facebook a couple months ago and pushed my sister into friending her, so they chatted a little, and then today my sister gets a message from a stranger telling her T has died, call for more details.
And now she's swept up into the drama of trying to find T's family...none of her other friends even seem to know where her father lives. It's so terrible.
Oh ita, that's very sad.
I just harvested so bunches of lettuce and cilantro, and put them in bowls of water to clean them. It seems they are both full of aphids.
One or two I can deal with, but when we get into dozens, I wiggins.
Timelies all!
Going back a bit, I know that none of my ancestors were here during either the Revolutionary War or the Civil War. Don't know exact dates, but my great, great whatevers got here sometime around the turn of the 20th century. (All Eastern European Jews)
Aphids, yuck.
Not to be all Me-on-TV-loves-carrots, but this is kind of cool. We haven't seen any of the cast and crew since April when they did the shoot, and now the show is actually airing tomorrow. Who did the DH just run into while in line at Costco but Steve, the host of the show. What are the odds? He said he just finished the voiceovers for the episode and it was gonna be good.
I swear, Costco in Burbank is the BEST near-celebrity spotting location I know of. Every time we go, we spot people like "That Blonde Woman from MadTV" or "That Guy That Played the Killer on Medium Last Year" or whatever. That is, of course, when we're not snarfing up food samples.
That's awesome, Scrappy! I'm excited to see it tomorrow!!
AND this week, the people on Throwdown with Bobby Flay work at my work! Or, at least one of them does, and maybe the other one used to? So they showed our building, and apparently coworkers who I don't know yet. Fun.
Scrappy, what's the name of the show? I want to cue up my dvr!
you people are fancy. while we were having lunch at Tribeca Grill (I'm imitating those annoying NYCers who casually drop stuff like that) someone who kinda looked like Bradley Cooper ran into an SUV while being photographed by paparazzi and then it drove off.
