Our wings are not tired.

Spellcheck just suggested that I meant The Whom rather than The Who.

BWAH!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Spellcheck just suggested that I meant The Whom rather than The Who

I just had wine shoot out of my nose laughing at this!

At the risk of complaining about the theatre again, I just had the stupidist fight ever. Two people in the theatre department are professors. One is in charge of a class, and the other of lab grades, which the lab instructors (me and some TA's submit). The in charge professor makes the syllabus, and the other one sends us a grading sheet for our students. AND THE RUBRICS ARE DIFFERENT. And I keep getting told that if I want to use a different rubric (the one in the syllabus) it is OK. And I am like-- dudes-- I think the rubric we use HAS to be the one in the syllabus!!!! I have been having this fight every grading period for 4 years.

Congratulations, Allyson!!

....I am so tired.

My mortgage payment hasn't posted yet, though neither has my Y dues, so I'm guessing this is a side effect of the first of the month being a weekend. But this is the part of autobillpay that makes me crazy. Did the computers melt down and forget? Did I accidentally opt out without realizing it? Am I being gaslit?

and while I'm whiny: my arm muscles are burny. I guess 5 miles of swimming over the weekend, the gardening plus hauling 80lbs of air conditioner up 2 floors and installing it might have pushed something over the edge.

Compassionately intolerant

Amy, even moreso in the movie "Saved". I loved her (and Culkin) in that.

Loved it. And still boggling over the most wanted, yet unavailable, soundtrack of my movie loving life.

With Stipe as producer, how could they NOT release a soundtrack?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Huh. I got $30-something back from the IRS, and I'm not sure why. I figured that I owed $2K-something, and paid that, and there was no info with the check. Could it be that they found an error in my favor already? Seems unlikely, no?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Thanks for the support wrt to mac. The grieving stuff is hard, but so good for him. I was shocked that he actually went straight to sad today and just stayed there. A good cry is good for him, he supresses sadness so much. He actually had a really good evening after crying it out.

It's really something amazing that he's processing the emotions towards immediate news now, rather than later. Credit to the distances you've covered.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad some good can come out of the grief, msbelle.

Question for buffista cooks: I bought a 1/3 lb. mahi mahi filet tonight, and want to do something a bit creative with it for dinner tomorrow night, but have no experience cooking this fish. Does this plan sound like it could turn out all right?

Sautee one side over medium heat for 5 minutes in pan coated with olive oil and a bit of salt. Drizzle the top with Grand Marnier, cover with thin banana slices and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon and brown sugar. Flip and sautee another 6 minutes.

Any suggestions or warnings?
