Barb--we were just watching the same thing! Scary. I am one of those people who is ALL ABOUT getting rid of stuff. The DH comes from a family of keepers. We balance each other out pretty well.

I'll admit, I'm a packrat, but I'm an organized packrat at least. I could not cope with what those people had. And I do get into fits where I become absolutely ruthless about purging.
And oddly, they struck me as some of the least grateful people I've ever seen on that show.

That is what I'm aspiring to be. An organized packrat.
Oooh, IKEA has chests of drawers in pink ...
None of my scars are surgical!
You need to get into more fights with doctors. Like, you walk into a bar and call out, "Is there a doctor in the house", and then one stands up, so you walk over and BAM! And then he goes for his scalpel and it's on!
That's what you need to do.
Huh, I have a C-section scar, and two on my left hand - one from surgery and one from trying to catch a coffee cup and having it break.
Remember that nanny share person who was driving me up a tree? She starts today, and emailed that she thought she wouldn't participate in helping to wash toys just yet since her little fellow really doesn't play with them much (he's three months, so she's not wrong).
I wrote her back in the nicest way possible that I'd really prefer it if she did participate, since I wasn't billing her for his portion of the heat/AC, the space in the freezer she asked for or the extra hour the nanny was there, etc.
Almost all my scars are abdominal - three from kidney/bladder surgery when I was 8, one appendectomy, and one c-section.
Yesterday was the first time I'd ever had stitches from an injury. Odd.
It is raining like a hurricane here. Poor students with exams! It is surely even less fun to take an exam while wet. (Yes, it is raining such that everyone, no matter how practically clad, is wet.)

When the sun is shining & it's lovely out I always think that's the worse time to have an exam.
There's just never a good time. And now I feel sorry for all the professors who have to grade them, too. (Signed, will never get over the semester when her class had 150 students.)
Man, I saw a woman SOAKED on the subway platform and I felt bad, but it's been raining since the middle of the night. How do you not grab an umbrella or trashbag or something. drippy pants stuck to my body is heeby jeeby dance inducing, hate.
Boss is out all week and I plan to take the opportunity to plow through papers and start typing up procedures for the work I do. Fingers crossed for a productive first day.
Good luck with that, Sparky.
