I'm getting the pig!

Instead, I shall once again proclaim the NUMMY-ness of Trader Joe's Maple Leaf Cookies.

The box I bought for M and I? Almost gone. You're a tad evil for getting me hooked on them.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ouch, Jess. I hope it heals up quickly.

“Not dead yet!”

But, you know, it was like the equivalent of "Me and her ain't going to that party" or whatever -- stuff that's objectively wrong, but still the way actual people talk.

If it was something like that, I'd feel better about stetting it, but in this case, she was correct and it was just an easy mistake on my part-- a difference between an "e" at the end of the word versus an "a" that changes the tense.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Well bless my soul, mac actually ate food I had cooked. BBQ chicken to be precise. miracles do happen. of course he also wanted fries, so the oven is on, but that means I also went ahead and made muffins. More baking items out of the pantry. I've started boxing up the unopened pantry items that have no chance of getting used.

also made more jello for mac, that will be dessert for the week.

Yay for miracles, msbelle.

I'm very not ready for tomorrow to be Monday. Can we insert an extra day into the weekend? Please?

Am now feeling like complete loser for not catching errors in a language in which I'm fluent, but don't use daily.

If it makes you feel any better, our authors (who are either natives or language teachers or both) make mistakes all the time. Everyone does. That's why you need editors, even in your own language.

ION, can anyone tell me why the last load of laundry I did a week ago might smell of smoke?

Has someone been smoking near the air intakes for your home?

Well, I do the laundry in the basement of my building. It would be hard to pick up anything from the outside.

I hadn't noticed anything until I went to put a t-shirt on, and then it was like I had rolled around in old cigar butts or something. It's definitely only what I washed. Now I'm going around smelling things to rewash because wearing them is intolerable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds nast. And weird.

You're absolutely right and I know this. I was just having a minor freak out, since I'm also at the "OMIGAWD THIS WHOLE BOOK SUCKS!" stage. Also, needed protein.

But since you're around, megan, is bebe accented with acute or grave marks? I've seen both, but the grave doesn't seem right to me.
