Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just saw yet another commercial refer to unhealthy food as "sinful." I am really getting sick of this.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Haven't bought bras in a couple of years. Not looking forward to when I have to again, as it was a bit of a pain. I'm an average size, but I want seamless cups and no padding. Good luck with that...

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

6 stitches, in and out in an hour, so not too bad. Hell on my typing, though.

Yikes, Jessica. Here's to quick healing. I am switching summer clothes in and winter clothes out but my summer clothes smell musty. If I hang them on the line for the rest of the afternoon, what's the likelihood that the musty will go away?

hip deep in pie

Ouch Jess. But I'm glad the ER was relatively painless.

I have a friend who worked in a high bra store in TO that did fittings and altered bras for a perfect fit. But I don't think they had many bras that were under $100.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Ouch, Jessica! Man, maybe my really old polishes should just quietly go away ...

It's been known to happen with new polishes, too. IIRC, bottle flaws leading to shattering were the reason behind the recent American Apparel polish recall. I've got polishes that are old enough to drink that are still in good shape. The only bottle that ever exploded on me was under 2 years old.

Because books.

I had a bottle I actually had to wait to have opened until Garv came home the other day. I couldn't even get it with a rubber gripper. Mortifying.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

At Town Shoppe they'll alter any bra as part of the price. I tend to shorten the shoulder straps.

Has something changed with YouTube recently? Plenty of videos that I've watched with no problem before are now way too soft to hear, even with the volume turned all the way up. Other sounds from my computer seem to be the same volume as usual.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I would think airing them out would get some of the musty smell out. I pulled out the sweaters and turtlenecks from my drawers today too. I need to get a box down and just pack them up. It'll be one more box done.
