Always Anti-fascist!

Unfortunately, the only response I've got for newly minted deficit hawks is something sensible like "Nuh uh...Krugman *said*, but it's true, he did. But unfortunately, around here, the people I'm fighting with aren't impressed with the thoughts of a New York Jew. Although quite a few of them rock my socks on a weekly basis, not to sound like Jon Gosselin or anything.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish Kate's Mystery Books was still open, I'd pilgrimage there this evening.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm wondering if I should forward that link to my mom--she's looking to get a bulldog soon (been haunting the local rescue group's webpage obsessively for about six months), and that might just send her over the edge!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Credit Card companies and their cut from charity donations.

One notable exception to the rule in this country is Capital One bank. Through its "No Hassle Giving Site", the bank waives transaction costs for holders of its Visa or MasterCard cards, so that 100 percent of people's donations goes to their chosen charity.

I suppose they keep making money where they keep making money, but Capitol One certainly comes off looking shinier in this landscape.

Yeah, that's interesting -- I didn't know that about Capital One!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I got an email from American Express saying that they were waiving their fees, so I'm a little skeptical of the article.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The URL is NSFW but don't worry, the only pictures are of the blogger's forearm - iAsshole reviews Ny New Pink Button, is unimpressed:

An overpowering sweet smell rose out of the vial as I sprinkled the powder. The ingredients say it is made from about every fruit that has been trendy for the past ten years, and includes cinnamon. There is also an ominous warning in the instructions that “for some, a slight ‘irritating’ feeling may occur upon application and last for about a minute.” An irritating feeling? Like the cosmetics industry telling me I should be self-conscious about yet another body part? Oh, wait, a different kind of irritating.

Myrrh is misspelled. Should I be concerned?? So is chamomile. Never mind, on with the rejuvenating of my drab baby cannon. I picked up some of the powder, which immediately bloomed with color. Oh dear. What was this, Lik-a-Vagina?
