I went looking to see what languages the BPL had Larssen in, and am highly disappointed to learn that the Mexican translation of Dragon Tattoo is called Men Who Didn't Love Women, essentially. Stupid macho culture!

ETA: I'd say "the queen of the palace of drafts (Vol. 3) is even worse as a title.

What upcoming events on the cultural calendar are you looking forward to?
The hardback Gotham Central: On the Freak Beat comes out June 15. And I actually made a note about that on my calendar. Mostly because I got tired of looking it up, but still.
Oh and then the Casanova rerelease may finally start in July, I guess? Which means volume 3 will finally finally start next winter. Sigh. That’s a lot of forward-looking.
I’m interested in seeing Kick-Ass, but interest doesn’t always translate into action. I am more likely to make an effort to see Inception.
...Mostly, this time of year I look forward to fall.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.
On an un-cultural tip, it looks like my ketamine infusion might actually happen, after about two years of back and forth about it. I'm looking forward to that, even if it does mean two days off work sitting on my ass, probably with no internet other than my phone and no TV.
Actually, it sounds miserable, down the K-hole. But maybe it will work.
