JZ, if you could get together a down payment (parental or sibling loan?) getting a newer, really reliable car would be so much better long-term, and honestly save money. And Toyota dealers, especially, seem to be willing to make deals right now - I looked locally and Toyota had some 60-month, 0% car loans available.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ahem. I was also married before 25.

Me too. Or three!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I believe the schedule's not great. I'll ask E at work for the full skinny.

I think the schedule is somewhat limited, but my DH used it for a year and a half and never had a problem.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am annoyed because I can't get the screens in two of my living room windows all the way down. They keep coming out of the tracks, and even so, I can't figure out why I can't just shove them down! I guess they are down far enough that the cat won't jump out (unlikely anyway, I guess, but my cat is dumb), but still bugs could fly in. Do not want.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Bookmarked, tommy, thanks.

The thing is that until now, this car has been pretty sturdy and reliable and altogether good. Almost all the crazy costs have been because of stupid non-mechanical stuff - tickets we couldn't pay off, the busted window, the asshole who put a nail in our tire. As a car, it's been pretty good (also a good 10-15 mpg better than the last car, which has been fantastic), and if this is fixable it'll probably last another couple of years.

Also, I accidentally left my air conditioner in New York, so I guess I'd better get a new one soon, before it actually gets hot, huh? OY.

Trust my rage

tommy, Joe thanks you greatly for the coffee link from earlier. He's currently salivating over the many beautiful espresso machines on that page.
