We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Happy Birthday, Tom!

I am mildly upset: I got my blood test results back last night, and although I exercise and eat pretty well and lost 20 lbs a few years back (and kept it off), and don't smoke or drink too much... my bad cholesterol levels are not good. Damn it.

I have to say farewell to cheese and red meat for a while. And eat a lot more oatmeal. And vegetables. Lots of vegetables. ::sigh::

Suela, I swear by oatmeal, since my cholesterol went down 10% over the past year. The rest of my eating habits are less than admirable, and my exercise level is moderate (and, also, hasn't increased in the past year), so the only variable I can see is that I eat oatmeal 4-5 mornings a week.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh, Consuela. That sucks.

Hey, Perkins, not for provocateuse use, but if you come across/have one, I'm looking for a good power shot of Sam, Dean, and John Winchester.

I am pretty sure I have a couple in my screen shots. Lemme poke.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm in the same place, Suela (except for the having lost 20 pounds, and I probably don't eat as well as you do). I need to bring my oatmeal to work so I can have it for breakfast every day.

“Not dead yet!”

Abby is dressed and ready for Sakura-Con. Outfit consists of gray and white striped hoodie sweater, red, gray, and black plaid miniskirt, dark gray and white patterned tights, and gray and black plaid flats. Finished off with a Hello Kitty black and silver hooded sweatshirt.

Her homage to the Japanese manga schoolgirl look. She pulls it off well (which should come as no surprise).

Hey! I've missed wishing you a happy birthday on time when it was yours, 10 days ago (IIRC), so belated wishes to you, as well!

How are you?

It's still the holiday (2 more days left), so vacation, and that's good. It also means that there are 2 more days of matzot, which is less good.

[H is sitting next to me as I type, and is insulted in the name of all the matzot in the world. Then again, he likes them, so it figures.]

Suela, all the good that you did for your body isn't gone just because one (important, but still one) factor is not affected by it, right?

Barb, kitty ears, or no?

She couldn't find them, but we're going to be on the lookout in the exhibitor hall.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, it just occured to me that that dress I got the other week might be just the thing to wear to this Sarah Palin counter-protest Real Tea Party. Hmmm.
