Now tagless for your comfort.

CV, I'm so glad you and the baby are ok. Scary stuff but happy ending!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hooray for both Erin and CV!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Google's logo today is adorable.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, I've become one of those "boycott April Fools Day" people.

Harrumph.

x-posty....

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have always disliked April Fools Day, and also all Candid Camera Type shows. I also have great sympathy for the fish in the Cat in the Hat. The Cat is crazy, and the kids are going to get in trouble!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Thank you, Google, for reminding me that today is Internet Jackass Day.

Gmail's sign-in/sign-up page has been 95% disem-voweled. I admit it made me laugh.

This morning I told The Boy that a GREAT April Fool's Day prank would have been to wake me up and tell me, "I *didn't* make you breakfast in bed...no, wait -- I did! April Fool!"

He didn't even miss a beat: "You didn't find the breakfast I left for you?"

Pretty much the only practical jokes I have any fondness for are the MIT hacks, and even those cross the line sometimes in terms of creating monetary expense and effort for other people.

Also possibly those guys who prank corporations.

I'm fine with practical jokes as long as they are (a) funny and (b) not harmful.

Back in the old office, we used to prank people's desks when they went on vacation. Sometimes it was just a Fimble in your chair, other times you'd come back to find your cubicle and everything in it neatly wrapped in tinfoil.
