We have a similar attitude in our district. Less cheating and more like, "My kid has more education than I have" so I never have presupposes parental involvement.

My current work pet peeve is that I'm not there. I'm working from home, but I still don't like it.
I can't think of any pet peeves at work. I could complain about when I do a bunch of work and the client decides not to use what I did, but we still get paid so it's not a big deal to me. So my biggest work complaint would have to be lack of restaurants at our location.
Pet Peeve at Work:
My biggest one right now is I Don't Have A Job.
Though I'm also reminded of Matt Groening's work complaint, "They make me do stuff I don't particularly want to do."
