Just finished going through 4 boxes of pictures looking for pix to put in the photo book I mentioned earlier. My photo storage is SO unorganized. One day I really should sort them and toss a bunch. While it is easy to delete an ick picture on a digital camera, somehow it seems wrong to toss a printed picture.
Anyway, in addition to the picture of me and my mom on my wedding day, I found a fabulous picture of just her on her wedding day. Might as well put that in also. I'm so tired of looking at pictures that I'm putting off storing the pile I have and trying to decide what order I want them in the book. Then it is scan-a-poluza.
CJ comes home tomorrow and I was hoping to get the scanning done before then. Oh well. I can work on it when he is at his dad's.
I don't have a favourite sushi spectacle/restaurant anymore...
we will have to find a new one
Huh. I hadn't realised that The Hump closed in the wake of the whale scandal.
I saw that a couple of days ago. On CNN maybe? I meant to post it. I guess I forgot.
Scrappy, I hope it goes ok tomorrow.
I just finished writing out invitations for Owen's birthday party to hand out to his class. They're going on Spring Break next week so I had to get them out tomorrow.
good health vibes to Bob, and I think someone else needed them? too tired to scroll back

You're a better mom than me. I have decided to just evite the desired guests just to make it easier on myself. Also? Egad, need to plan 5yo birthday party. He has very definite ideas about who to invite and what to do, too.
I don;t even know where to start finding a new cool sushi restaurant.
Recommendations? Scandalous vicarious experiences much recommended.
And in tonight's ::headdesk:: moment, this was brought to my attention:
Children's:
Young Adult
Walter Dean Myers's CARMEN, a retelling of the Bizet opera set in Spanish Harlem in which a teen with a fiery temper wants the one boy she can't have, with deadly consequences, to Regina Griffin at Egmont, by Miriam Altshuler of Miriam Altshuler Literary Agency.
I'm either a trendsetter or utterly fucked.
I'm going to go with trendsetter.
