Thanks to my parents I have knives from India, Russia, and China. I fully encourage the practice.
See? And ita hasn't killed anybody with her knives. Yet. That we know of.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

When you flee, stay fled. Plaid is not red.
At the moment he has a bo staff, nunchucks, and a sword (dull). I have steel fans that I really need to practice with. I don't think I'll be ready for the tournament in May, but maybe the fall tournament.
Sword! Sword! It could hang on the living room wall next to Sting! Though I doubt it's as efficient at killing snowmen as Sting is. Lovely balance to Sting, and the heft to length feels good in the hand.
Sneeze-lurker. A thief who throws snuff in a person’s face, and then robs him.
How evilly ingenious. You couldn't call it armed robbery, though maybe aggravated assault.
NB arrest being reported on TMZ.
NB = Nick Brendon?!?
Eep. (I was just coming here with that link!)

Awww. At his age, I probably only had a couple cheesy knives.
Now I'm thinking of the weapons I've lost. I really miss a large dagger that I had in storage in New Orleans (Katrina) made of recycled steel. It was the most beautifully balanced weapon I've ever owned. 8" blade, wire-wrapped handle. Rusted like a bitch, though. That was scary. Had to keep it lubed up. Lost a katana/wakizashi replica pair from Japan from my dad there too. And a butterfly knife seized at the Canadian border.
The weapon I really want the most right now is a telescoping baton, but they're illegal in California, I understand.
Dang. Maybe he'll get cleaned up now.
