The status is NOT quo.

ita, it woke me up out of a sound sleep, and now I'm quietly feaking out and bemoaning the fact that my paltry five hours of sleep may now be more like three. Damn is the commute going to suck this morning.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Quake woke me. Can't get back to sleep. Fuck.

The status is NOT quo.

Yep, pretty much.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was already mildly awake, but it felt like somebody grabbed my bed and shook it, and I can't settle down.

Ditto. I envy Drew his ability to wake up, mutter "earthquake," and fall back asleep. Also, I apparently cricked my neck when the bed jumped, and it hurts. And I have to get up in 90 minutes. And yes, I would like some cheese with my whine. Being woken up on little sleep makes me 3.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ugh. I woke up three or four times last night, but not for as good a reason.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I was thrilled when I turned 30, because I figured any lectures my mother chose to deliver were because of her issues, because I was 30, dammit, and that meant I was a grown-up (for purposes of not having to listen to maternal lectures).

* laughs hysterically *

My mother will lecture my corpse.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Earthquake? Yikes!

--put another person's name on your keychain, preferably another race/ethnicity than your own

I totally want to do this now, just on principle.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Eeep, sorry about the earthquake. My cats started nonsense at 4:15!! NOT ON, cats!

Also, the movers cancelled and rescheduled for Thursday at 2pm, not nearly as convenient.

oh well, I have voted in our special election and now I can be on time for work. Maybe before Thursday I can get some more crap cleared out of the house.

Our wings are not tired.

Planet! Stop shaking people trying to sleep!

Grateful that I married a designated driver. Don't have to worry so much about breathalyzer tests and such. Will remember the stay fled advice though.
