Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cass, I just meant I didn't want to be presumptuous about msbelle's business by speaking for her.

Man, Gina Torres is a stupendously lovely woman.

Purple

Love!

I'm so sorry, msbelle. So hard.

Can't be said often enough. I do not understand why she doesn't get all the best roles.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Any of the Bay-Area-Istas want to see a free play at the Berkeley Rep? It's getting great reviews!

I'd love to! When? I'll bet it's when I'm doing a play myself. Irony! Or something.

I do not understand why she doesn't get all the best roles.

She has at least been busy--she was on three series this season alone.

She auditioned for a role on next season of Eureka, but apparently they're going to go local for the role instead.

Sorry, P-C, it's tonight. Missed the window. You would have had to be at the theater... now.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, -t--if I drive up to your neck of the woods next weekend, would you have any interest in having lunch or brunch somewhere in that area?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'll be interested to see what race they cast for the role. Since they also auditioned Lauren Holly it is evidently any ethnicity, but Colin says casting local is pretty much equivalent to casting white.

Oh, msbelle. Lots of wishes of strength and acceptance headed your way.

Taking a Wire break while I put away laundry. Funny the things that are familiar: real property search results pages printed out! I discovered it shortly after buying and now know what each of my neighbors' bought their houses for. It's fascinating. And had I bought 7 years ago, I might've made out a little better, but I am so glad I didn't buy in the interim, at the peak. OUCH. Not sharing this site with a few of 'em, because they might kill me.

I've got to get a dress for a May wedding. The Awesome Matt (who came and helped shovel out the neighborhood) and Tiff. I helped put together the invites, and just got mine. Whee! It might actually not be demoralizing to try to find a dress now. Not fun, but not hateful.

I certainly would, Perkins. Lots of interest, in fact.
