It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2009: So long and thanks for all the fish.

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Christmukkah, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Oh, and 2009? Don't think we've forgotten about you

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

LOVE the Dalek potholders! Love love love!

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Can I nab that for my fb knitting project gallery?

Sure!

Huh - I didn't remember that the image at the site was also green. You can find the pattern here . . . I have to say that when I started the bobbles almost killed me. But now, I can do them pretty smoothly.

(There is, of course, a long tradition of Doctor Who fan-knitting.)

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I have a Dalek washcloth my friend made me. "Exfoliate!"

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Love the Dalek potholder, sumi! This is even more impressive because while I thoroughly enjoy Dr. Who, I HATE Daleks with an unholy passion. Just one sound of their horrid voices makes me want to reach into the tv and pop off their non-head heads and spin them around by their toilet plungers.

What are they exactly? People/robots/aliens? I think I might prefer to think of my potholders as oddly shaped lighthouses.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They are aliens inside of robots, who have traumatised a generation of British children and PBS watchers.
