Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Then he is the ideal one to give the Gift of Looming!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Thanks for the ~ma, y'all. It's been rough for her the last several months.

Paging Vortex, are you around and available for phone conversation? I could use some of your mojo.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

No, the non-sciatica butt-cheek pain has NOT gone away so if somebody could Nilly up a link to that stretch, I would be most appreciative.

Piriformis stretch.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't see the word piriformis without thinking of Audition and the phrase "kiri kiri kiri" which is quite disturbing. But I am reminded I should try the stretch. I'm on the verge of that pain.

I tried to replace it with "Mistress Piriformis," to no avail.

But I am reminded I should try the stretch. I'm on the verge of that pain.

Something else you can do for that pain is to lie down on your back on the floor and put a tennis ball under your general butt area, and shift around so that it's rolling/moving -- it kind of kneads out some knots.

(Note: this is good for most sore muscle areas, not just the buttocks.)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I can't see the word piriformis without thinking of Audition and the phrase "kiri kiri kiri" which is quite disturbing.

I can't see this conversation without thinking "I have no idea what these people are talking about."

Art Crawl!!!

I went and stretched a bit and already feel better. I believe I will be stretching on and off tonight. (That will be okay, right?)

Brenda, go see the movie Audition, and then we'll talk. Assuming you're not mad at me. Which, really, it's not that bad.

Steph, I had PT for a long time on my ass and stomach and I have a styrofoam roller and a number of PT balls I never use that are all for that very purpose. Today I will remedy some of that.
