Giles! I accidentally killed Spike. That's okay, right?

Buffy ,'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 45: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Do we know about [link]

I didn't. But the next Threadless shirt I intened to buy, hopefully within the next month, is this: [link] It's funny 'cause it's true.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

It's funny 'cause it's true.

I love it!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'll be in the university tomorrow, and I'll try to see if at least there are parts of it that were translated into English.

Thank you, Shir. I am interested and would love to learn more, but if it's a bother please don't worry about it. I know you have a lot of other things on your plate.

In other news, I'm slounging around on my sofa at 8:45 this morning because the roads are covered with ice. Luckily my office closes when circumstances call for it and we get paid through "adverse weather condition" funds, i.e., no vacation time hits. I do need to try and go in around noon, but since I kinda like it there that's fine. It's still a treat to have a morning off.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

my sister's mom apparently has a dutch-dwarf doe (try saying that 5 times fast) that they are trying to breed.

For a second, I read "dutch-dwarf Toe" and thought "that doesn't sound like a good thing, why are they trying to breed that?"

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Cricket! Come on out and play!

I am at work and resenting it. I foolishly didn't bring lunch b/c we were supposed to go out for people's birthdays, but of course half the office isn't in because of the roads (including the person who lives the closest, I will note). So my choices for lunch are a can of lentil soup or a prepackaged Indian lentil thingy. Mmm. Lentils or lentils. Not digging either one.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Well, so far it looks like b.org isn't blocked at my new work place, although it looks like it does block images it doesn't like. I didn't get to look at the spoiler T-shirt.

Hugs to peeps that things aren't going well, I hope that things start going better, soonest.

Glam, Shanie sure is a little cutiehead. I loved the Jack Benny pose! Now, to teach him to do it all the time. ::rubs hands gleefully::

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sail, good luck getting settled in at the new job!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Happy first day, Sail!
